The Crystal Lake Area Branch members are active and engaged members of the community. Among other things:

-Our branch collaborates with other local organizations from time to time, to bring special programs to our community.  Check back here for updates.

—Our Annual Spring Luncheon and member donations enable us to award scholarships to deserving students, who attend McHenry County College or Columbia College-Crystal Lake.

–Community Inter Action (CIA) engages members in service projects for charitable organizations who assist women and girls, locally and globally.

–AAUW has developed salary negotiation programs. The Work Smart online training program is appropriate for all women, in any field.  It can be done from the comfort of your home, so please take advantage of this great tool to help narrow the pay gap.

Additionally, through our Branch meeting programs, and special interest groups, members participate in life-long learning and create lasting friendships.
